Get ready to rock, roll, and raise the roof as Augusta/CSRA Habitat for Humanity presents the 2nd Annual ‘Build the Band’ live at The Miller Theater on Saturday June 21st, 2025. The CSRA’s finest musicians and singers will battle it out to be crowned the ultimate champion, all for the benefit of Augusta/CSRA Habitat for Humanity. With judges in the house and the audience’s vote, the stage is set for a musical showdown like no other! Who will steal the spotlight and rock your socks off?

Ryan Abel is a local singer/promoter/philanthropist from North Augusta, SC.  He currently lives in downtown Augusta, GA.  Ryan is a 3 time Augusta’s Best Male Vocalist by Augusta’s MagazineHe’s in his third and final year as the Board Chair for The Augusta Players and is a supporter of all things Gamecocks (South Carolina) and Yellow Jackets (North Augusta High)Ryan believes it is the duty of those with talent or influence to help their community and fellow citizens have a better lifeHe is excited to partner with Habitat for Humanity of Augusta!

Luke Amerson is a dynamic singer-songwriter, musical composer, and lyricist with over a decade of experience as a professional musician and creative. Luke has been a member of numerous bands and acts throughout his career and  has had the incredible opportunity to open for renowned acts such as Usher, Maroon 5, and NEEDTOBREATHE, showcasing his versatility and talent on prominent stages. With a passion for storytelling through music, whether leading worship or composing original works, Luke is dedicated to creating music that connects and resonates deeply.

Trey McLaughlin is a passionate solo vocalist — recognizing the beauty of, and fusing together an eclectic mix of musical genres for all those who encounter his artistry. He composes and performs original works and prolifically arranged covers with his own recording ensemble, The Sounds of Zamar. Presenting what is known as “The Zamar Experience” Tour this Fall & Winter throughout various regions of the United States, the group has recently returned from a national tour coast, ministering to diverse audiences in Davis, CA; Berkely, CA; Stanford, CA; Portland, Seattle, WA; Boston, MA; Tampa, FL; and Jacksonville, FL.

Jaycie Ward is a singer/songwriter from Beech Island, SC, known for her powerful vocals and captivating performances. Over the past two decades, she has graced stages across the CSRA, including events like the Kicks 99 Guitar Pull and performances at the Miller Theater with tribute bands like “Goin’ South” and “Laurel Canyon.” You may have also caught her performing at your favorite local hangout spot – as she plays a lot throughout the CSRA! Singing since she could talk, Jaycie is influenced by artists like Amy Winehouse, Linda Ronstadt, and Martina McBride, and her powerhouse vocals are sure to leave a lasting impression!
