At Augusta/CSRA Habitat for Humanity, our dedicated volunteers are our biggest asset. We are a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization working towards eliminating substandard housing in our community. Whether you are an individual or part of a large group, there are various volunteer opportunities available to support our goals.
Volunteer Opportunities
Construction: Get hands-on experience in building and renovating homes. Our construction volunteer opportunities vary depending on the stage of home building and may also include deconstruction projects and home rehabs. Skilled and unskilled volunteers are welcome. Join us in making a tangible difference in the lives of families in need.
ReStore: Support our mission by volunteering at our Habitat for Humanity ReStore. As a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center, the ReStore sells new and gently used appliances, furniture, home accessories, and building materials at a fraction of the retail price. Volunteer roles include sales, truck helpers, cashiers, stockers, loaders, and unloaders.
Administrative Offices: Help us with administrative tasks and special projects at our administrative offices. Volunteers are needed for filing, answering phones, and assisting with various office tasks. Your support in the office contributes to the smooth operation of our organization.
Committees: Volunteer your time and expertise by joining one of our committees. We have opportunities available in fundraising, family selection, family support, and public relations. By participating in committees, you can actively contribute to shaping our programs and initiatives.
Important Volunteer Information
Minimum Age Requirement: Due to Habitat for Humanity International policies, volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate in volunteer activities at our construction sites, ReStore, and offices.
Volunteer Signup: We ask all volunteers to sign up through our website each time they plan to volunteer. Complete the waiver and confidentiality agreement forms on our website before you plan to volunteer. Thank you!
